Liminal Liminal online for a Tavern crew

#41
Just wanted to say “Thank you” for last night's session and to once again apologise for my late arrival and audio issues.

Looking forward to next week when I will hopefully be more with it and prepared.

So...
Queen's Service -1
Jaeger Family -2
Temese +1
P Division +1

That's a good spread. And a dislike of the Jaeger family was fairly clear. One thing we didn't do is crew assets, but those seemed to develop naturally and organically in any case, and we've got a good concept.

Thanks everyone for playing, and I look forward to continuing next week.

Yes, I enjoyed it. Thanks a lot! Not sure where the connection problems were coming from - I sometimes felt as though I was being cut off too.

I guess the main assets would be my car, a small(ish) library for both Robin & Simon, Simon's being more geared to fiction, mine to the factual or the sort of folklore book that can be found in a lending library (the less mundane works I have access to are in the restricted stacks at the British Library). I expect Simon and Robin both have computers, and the house has broadband.

Hmm, what do I spend my salary on? Apart from rent & utilities and living costs, and the car, probably books. I'm guessing Robin looks somewhat like a tweedy academic from an Oxbridge college.

Guys, I have a heads-up for the 18th July. I have a job interview in Coventry and don't know what time I will be back - theoretically the drive shouldn't take more than 2 hours but with traffic on the M6 & A14 I'm likely to be delayed. I would expect to be leaving sometime after 2pm which would mean being home by 5pm, but just in case...

I'm also in a bit of a "heads up" situation on the 18th in terms of starting time. I think it will be okay (hence I've not said anything), but there is a danger.

Well, I'm back from Poole where we were scattering my Mum's ashes on Sunday... Blisteringly hot, lil' sis and sprogs went to beach afterwards while I ran errands (thought while I was down there I might as well stock up on some household items from a local fire-sale place and take advantage of the very large Sainsburys). Camped in the old house (the tenants had left) - I'm too old to be sleeping on a mattress on the floor... Went back via my friend in London and collected the Performa 475 - I shall be pulling files off the disc and burning them onto a CD-ROM, then headed back to lil' sis's place. Luckily my niece had kindly downloaded me a sat-nav app (Waze) which was invaluable when the M25 was at a standstill junctions 13-17.

My big day trip is tomorrow week. Fortunately it's Coventry not South London, and car not Govia Thameslink (mind you I got about 2/3 off with the delay repay). I should be back by suppertime, but I'll 'see' everyone at 8 pm that night.

Wrong window Tom? 😜

Seriously though, thanks all for an awesome session last night. Had we gone in unprepared I don’t think I would have survived the last encounter so special thanks to my fellow players for coming up with some critical supporting ideas.

Looking forward to next week and the aftermath of our actions.

Whilst I remember, here are teh revised skills for Stephen:

Skill Cap: 4
Physical Skills: Athletics 2, Awareness 2, Melee Combat 3, Survival 2, Vehicles 2
Mental Skills: Technology 2
Social Skills: Conviction 1, Streetwise 2, Taunt 3

In the end just swapped Vehicles out for Streetwise. Decided to keep Technology because it might prove useful at some point.
