With the arrival of the big box of the amazing Forbidden Lands, I'm putting down this thread as a place to record our adventures in The Raven Lands. Characters will be posted, adventures will be had.

All are equally unwelcome in the Forbidden Lands. We might able to use thread tags to identify groups? Might be beyond our reach but I'm happy to see different reaver groups collaborate or exterminate each other.

I'm looking at a PVC version of the map, with token versions of the sites applied. Blue tack might be involved.

A fully digital version may also fit the bill.

Curiously what tools will we be using to place pins on the map? Online virtual tabletops?
My suggestion, pending any other cooler form of graphical collaborative tool, is to use a shared Google Slides. This allows us to draw on top of an image and place the 'stickers' on the map. We can even add little text boxes to mention key events etc. This will give us a log of our journey. In short, the map will become our journal version of the Forbidden Lands.

I had planned to play a Lagertha Lothbrok archetype (basically because Katheryn Winnick the actress is hot), while using artwork of the original female fighter that Fria Ligan removed, because her pose was a tad too model and less warrior.

Anyway, with the friendly snark over Larry Elmore's entirely lovely art, I am tempted to play the Snarf from SnarfQuest, but since that race does not exist in Forbidden Lands, probably, return to my original human female concept, maybe even Telerie Windyarm, with just decorative armor, since in Fria Ligan's game engines, armor is not a direct soak value, but requires a dice roll, so losing it for adventurer fashion is not a big deal.
