[shopping] What have you splurged on recently?

A nice surprise in today's post - the nature of most of the kickstarter and similar crowdfunding campaigns that I back is that it's often 18 months between parting with cash and the goods arriving. The art and design of Symbaroum have maintained the same quality throughout a growing series of books. IMG_20200523_100419024_HDR.jpg

Fria Ligan are usually pretty good at delivering on time.
Pretty good compared with some. I think in these strange times we have to give game publishers some slack, they don't have control over printers and dice manufacturers, etc. I notice the Bitter Reach for Forbidden Lands estimates Feb 2020 for delivery.... ;-)

One of the updates implied that they had it all and it was due to ship after Tales from the Loop Starter set? GamesQuest are working through the backlog.

This clock stamp is truly a great accessory for Forged in the Dark games.
Makes the circles properly round instead of the amoeba-shaped ones when hand-drawn. ;-)
Some of us were trained with military precision on how to draw a circle freehand. That's pretty much my take away from GCSE Design. And those clocks aren't exactly being handed down to posterity -- how long are your Long Projects?

Small circles can be drawn with a single hand movement. Bit ones no so much, unless you break them into four quadrants for the draw. Same with lines, beyond a simple pivot of the wrist, aong line gets bent when elbow movements get involved.
