My, these peeps like leaving things to the last minute, no call for registration yet, and only just today received the 'you GMed last year, do you want to this year' note.

Having said that, thoroughly enjoyed last years Conpulsion event ( well ok, I missed the Friday and Saturday nights due to being down the Grassmarket ) so just took in the four gaming sessions only, and have already booked a hotel room. Having started writing this years scenarios on a beach in Jamaica last year, still ongoing, but things are looking good for my Savage Worlds con debut. Plus a CoC Charles Stross Laundry-based scenario set in the 1980s.

Looking forward to it Very Happy

In a Tale of Two Posts, I have bailed on this event now, after my ambivalent treatment from the games organiser. The guy made such a balls up last year, and I was surprised to see him still holding the position this year. Still, what the heck, just book and go I thought. However several zero/ambivalent replies later, and my enthusiasm waned.I could have complained to the event organisers, but quite frankly I can't be arsed. I have enough political battles at work, without having one re RPGs.

Conversely, the treatment from both Con-Quest and Continuum GM organisers, puts the Conpulsion guy to shame.

So, the solution was simple, go to Con-Quest instead. Very Happy

Conplusion's loss is Con-Quest's gain Smile

Are you staying to socialise in the evening after Con-Quest ends?

Sadly not, as I managed to get some cheap train tickets, although I am there from the start to the end, as my train leaves just after 8pm. See you there matey Very Happy
